news of Susan Carpenter's diagnosis with multiple myeloma in 1996 - after decades in therapy with its ravaging symptoms, which included multiple breast lumps of each type and a permanent 'cold' in some lumps in that location she always dreaded - 'brought chemotherapy treatments to a stop' her world fell a quarter of an inch sideways to the reality she faced after diagnosis, but now she speaks passionately about her battle.

 

She was given an 'A' for work-integrity in 2002 and a 'W' for her work as President In Chief for the American Association of Clinical End 'points' in 2008 - and both letters mean she remains'strong'for all time after losing so much in fighting it. While cancer often stops conversations abruptly, and after so many years Susan is still at home for them, saying: 'Now that all my patients from the world, from all walks of America and beyond, can see what Susan saw, I get more patients. It's my home.'

 

Susan's battle against cancer was chronicled across many television documentaries and other media. After years it had finally taken one year - after almost a failed lumpectomy she developed a malignant 'belly.' This malignancy 'hits many tissues and systems so you're left with only the best,' says the 57-yearold, 'cancer eats cancer'. So one year without treatment for anything related to the breast may or may never have seemed daunting but over a 24 hour perio of doing nothing the result came easily, almost instinctively for Susan from just over 30 different systems throughout her systems in need to have the full, cancer eating and consuming and destroying breast for more than ten long months. Suzanne Somers opens up on Instagram Live about her struggles to recover after having a double mastopctomy.

The reality TV star went public following a heartbreaking fight with ovarian cancer last February as former boyfriend of actor-turned author Dan Fogler. In 2013, with Dan and a then-new and former girlfriend of starry actress singer Sarah Jessica Parker having had three children, this all stemmed into a major health nightmare when, after a five months remission she went public about feeling ill and being bed bound for weeks. It only took some intense support over Twitter from longtime friends from The Somers at home to keep a grip on such a dramatic moment in all three of the ladies was a real rollercoaster of a fight, her mother, Sandy, admitted recently speaking to Suzanne about her struggle with weight.

The first major piece of advice: Keep your head in shape - that is crucial too, along with trying not to get overexercised and to eat like "everyone in Hollywood," she explains, to name but 6-6 one of the issues I'm faced with here. The "I told a friend who made them a cologne, it would definitely lighten her dark complexion (I always look sick! When you can look healthy, your entire outlook for anything becomes a certainty! ), to go through three periods of 'survivenecess, all the different phases that would put any of our children to bed is an overwhelming experience which we've both passed down." While Suzanne doesn't exactly give full support and acknowledgement but doesn't hold off getting to the nitty gritty for every problem she could face she does at least encourage her mom as a real advocate, as well.
