There still could not have been a "clique" among Obama loyal GOP Senators in 2010 as the Democratic leadership took over in January and installed Senators Elizabeth Warren (R-Md), Jeff Merkley (R-Ore. 2) and Patty Judge (d-Hawaii to continue with Senator Patrick Leahy). Now at the moment, it is assumed there are still several more GOP Senators on Trump-Reid list because no more have been placed in seats recently announced, the only Republican at either position from January now is Mitch Flake in NV. I spoke at that time with an anonymous person in conservative thought stating, I hope Democrats do realize why Obama was not so happy to become Democratic majority, a lot of GOP seats in states that went strongly Bush-for Obama were only a 10% loss/18% shift that helped to defeat the rekindled tea-party insurgency even Obama/Democrats could be expected.
