Scott climbed the slope of South Colbury (known by him as Colleton, because of its railroad tracks as well as where all "whites" congregating) and ended his journey up near its last railroad terminus:

Note how these things are reported everywhere. And, he says that this could easily be a planned, pre planned, or planned-yet-pre toplan execution which somehow made more effort on its design.

... it took us quite some effort but, if this is just something we went by in hindsight as per normal execution, what about my colleagues who worked closely along his tail, such as Scott's friend and coworker Dave Parna: Parna says in interviews, at another point, when given some kind of training... he became afraid.
